Invest Wisely in Technology

Computation’s Refurbished Technology Reuse Event in Toronto and Montreal March 22nd-28th Is Worth It

Toronto, Canada – Computation’s first-ever Technology Reuse Event could not come at a better time.  The event, scheduled to run from March 22nd – 28th at its locations in Toronto and in Montreal, will give the public the opportunity to consult with tech pros on what technology would meet their needs and how they might upgrade their current system.

“The computing needs of the majority of computer users haven’t changed in a number of years.  A Pentium 4 running Windows XP, an office package and security program can do everything most people need without additional investments,” says Managing Partner Dennis Maslo.

This event is a result of several years of perfecting an in-house refurbishing program that breathes new life into gently used corporate equipment. The environmental cost of purchasing a new computer is quite high (est. 300 kg of fossil fuel equivalent, 20 kg of chemicals and 1500 liters of fresh water). In comparison, a used computer does not consume these resources and comes at a fraction of the cost.

Those in need of a replacement system or upgrade to their equipment will be able to purchase everything from brand name desktop computers and printers to video cards at unbelievable prices.  A Pentium 4 desktop that comes with a formatted hard drive, Windows XP license, keyboard, and mouse goes for $80. Even the sought after USB printer cables that should come with a newly purchased printer, but never do, can be picked up for a mere $5.

The Toronto event will take place at 280 Jane St., from 10:00am until 7:00pm Monday through Friday and from 10:00am until 6:00pm on Saturday & Sunday.

The Montreal event will take place at 7080 Alexandra St., Suite 101, from 10:00am until 6:00pm Monday through Friday, and Saturday 11:00am until 5:00pm.
